Trend Technologies doubles square footage in India

Trend Technologies (Chino, CA), a vertically integrated manufacturer specializing in metal stamping, metal fabrication and injection molding, has announced that it will build a new facility in Pune, India.

Phase one of the project more than doubles Trend’s existing square footage to 80,000 square feet and can be expanded to a total of 120,000 square feet. The new facility in the MIDC business park 2 allows for additional investments in tool building and metal stamping in addition to future investments in metal fabrication and injection molding. The first phase of construction will be completed in the first quarter of 2017.

“Growth in India is important as it meets the needs of our global and local customers," said Brian Dickstein, President of Trend Technologies. “We have strategic plans to continue to invest in India over the next three years,” he added.

Trend Technologies’ Pune facility is positioned to support customers in various industries including automotive, industrial, enterprise and digital home and office.

The company operates 10 manufacturing locations in nine countries.
