Wittmann Battenfeld boosts commitment to injection molding training in U.S.

With training at the forefront of many molders' initiatives as they attempt to fill the skills gap, Wittmann Battenfeld (Kottingbrunn, Austria) is committed to helping its customers by providing training classes. Wittmann Battenfeld’s molding machine base throughout the United States has grown significantly over the past few years, and it has become essential to provide increased training programs across the country.
The company recently relocated Christian Glueck, Technical Center Manager and Trainer, from Wittmann Austria to oversee this initiative. He has already begun making an impact with increased training sessions scheduled at Wittmann Battenfeld’s tech center in Torrington, CT; numerous training sessions at customer locations have also taken place. Just recently, he conducted Wittmann Battenfeld’s first injection molding machine (IMM) training class on the West Coast.
The debut class was very successful, with numerous customers in attendance at Wittmann Battenfeld’s Tech Center in Corona, CA. Glueck and the Wittmann Battenfeld western region team demonstrated best practices for running the machine and the mold, and showed various connectivity options. All of the customers gave positive feedback on their experience.
