JSW taps Windsor as sales partner

Windsor Kunststofftechnologie GmbH (Hanau, Germany) is a new sales partner for The Japan Steel Works Ltd. (JSW; Tokyo) and will now sell and service that manufacturer’s electric injection molding machines in Germany and Eastern Europe. The machines range in size from 350-25,000 kN of clamp force. Earlier this year, Taylor’s Worldwide LLC, which owns the HPM injection molding machinery business, sold Windsor to U.S. financial investor Francis & Associates LLC. Price was not revealed. Windsor formerly made injection molding machinery but in the last years has restricted itself to servicing and offering replacement parts for these, and marketing its PlugXpress secondary injection unit.

During next month’s K Show, October 24-31 in Düsseldorf, JSW and Windsor will share a stand (7aD32). “We are happy about the confidence JSW shows towards us,” says Reiner Nowacki, managing director of Windsor GmbH. “JSW entrusted us with the complete handling of sales and services in Germany and Eastern Europe.—[email protected]
