Oliver-Tolas buys Mangar Medical Packaging

Oliver-Tolas (New Britain, PA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Oliver Products Co. that supplies sterile-grade die-cut lid, roll stock and pouch products to the medical device and pharmaceutical markets, has announced the acquisition of Mangar Medical Packaging. Also headquartered in New Britain, Mangar is specialized in sterile barrier products, providing pouches, lids and mounting cards to the healthcare sector.

“Over the past 30 years, Mangar Medical Packaging has grown to become one of the most admired companies in the healthcare packaging industry,” said Jerry Bennish, President and CEO of Oliver-Tolas in a prepared statement. “With best-in-class converting capabilities, an experienced team and a passion to serve customers, Mangar has a history of providing innovative, cost-effective, high-quality solutions to meet customer needs. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to combine the extremely talented team and capabilities of Mangar with Oliver-Tolas.” An immediate benefit for customers, he added, will be a broader product offering and enhanced technical capabilities.

Sales, customer service, technical service and production at the Mangar and Oliver-Tolas sites will continue with no immediate changes, according to a press release announcing the acquisition.
