Certified for medical, pharmaceutical, and repeated-use food contact applications, Ticona?s new Fortron PPS 9000 Series comes in two reinforced molding grades. Forton 9140 and 9140L6 have 40 percent glass fiber content, with the latter grade offering higher flow. Target applications include surgical instruments, drug manufacture and delivery systems, food and beverage processing and dispensing equipment, and conveyor belt links and drive mechanisms.
