Mold inserts with ears

Quick-Change mold inserts from Master Unit Die now have extra material left on the insert after machining. This feature makes setup and machining easier and faster because machine parameters can be duplicated. Because the sides of the insert provide a more consistent surface, clamping and setup requires fewer steps and no shimming. The added material also allows for greater wall thickness on pockets. This innovation is offered as a no-cost option on all standard inserts. For U-frames only, the option is available within the standard delivery schedule at no extra charge.
