E-shots Web-exclusive: TricorBraun acquires Ryco Packaging

With $740 million in annual revenue, St. Louis, MO-based TricorBraun (www.tricorbraun.com) is about to become larger. The rigid packaging company recently acquired $140 million Ryco Packaging Corp. (Omaha, NE) for an undisclosed amount. According to company sources, this acquisition brings more than 60 strong packaging professionals from Ryco to TricorBraun, broadens and diversifies the latter company's business base, and introduces some “exciting new vendor relationships.”

Redundant locations between the two companies have been folded into TricorBraun's operations with the exception of Seattle, WA, which is a new location for the organization.
