Packaging: RPC consolidates personal-care business

Rigid plastics packaging processor RPC Group (Higham Ferrers, England), one of the largest such processors in Europe with captive blowmolding, injection molding, and thermoforming facilities, is consolidating its cosmetics and personal-care operations. Its RPC beauté facilitiy in Mozzate, Italy, which molded packaging for make-up and perfumes, will be closed, with its operations transferred to the French site of Marolles, which will become part of the firm’s large German site, RPC Bramlage-Wiko.

Packaging: RPC consolidates personal-care business

 (Higham Ferrers, England), one of the largest such processors in Europe with captive blowmolding, injection molding, and thermoforming facilities, is consolidating its cosmetics and personal-care operations. Its RPC beauté facilitiy in Mozzate, Italy, which molded packaging for make-up and perfumes, will be closed, with its operations transferred to the French site of Marolles, which will become part of the firm’s large German site, RPC Bramlage-Wiko.

RPC’s business in processing packaging of fragrances, color cosmetics, personal-care items, and toiletries is consolidated under the leadership of Alfons Böckmann, longtime boss at RPC Bramlage-Wiko. The new RPC Bramlage-Wiko operation will have sales of euro 250 million, with 11 production sites in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and the U.S., as well as partnerships in Russia and Thailand.—[email protected]
