PP for thin-wall packaging

Polypropylene copolymers with medium flow properties offer a balanced combination of product properties and processing conditions for the manufacture of packaging and household appliances, including thin-walled parts.

A high-impact PP product with a melt flow index of 55 g/10 min, FinaproPPC 11712, lends itself particularly to the injection molding of thin-walled containers in multiple-cavity molds for applications in the foodstuffs sector. The product is also noted for its balanced ratio of stiffness and toughness, even at low temperatures, so it is suitable for producing thin-walled containers on high-performance injection molding equipment. The resultant packaging has good optical and antistatic surface properties.
