Cadence, Inc., a supplier of advanced products, technologies and services to medical, life science, automotive, and industrial companies worldwide, broke ground on May 21, 2015, on a new 62,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in the Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park in Sturgeon Bay, WI. The new facility, nearly three times the size of the existing plant, will position the company to expand production capacity and add new technologies to support an expanding customer base.

"Our Sturgeon Bay operation is one of the leading providers in the United States of precision metal stamping for the most complex components used in medical, automotive and industrial applications," said Alan Connor, President and CEO. "We continue to expand our unique multi-slide forming, microstamping, insert molding and assembly capabilities, and this new facility will allow us to continue to grow and better serve our customers."
Sandy Sekadlo, VP of Manufacturing added, "I am pleased not only for our customers and employees, but also for the community of Sturgeon Bay. We fully expect that this expansion will create many job opportunities over the next several years."
Cadence offers injection molding at four of its six facilities as an integral part of the company's complex subassembly process, including insert molding, two-shot molding and MuCell microcellular molding.
The company's headquarters are in Staunton, VA, where it operates a 95,000-square-foot facility. Other locations include Cranberry Township, PA (21,000 square feet with cleanroom capabilities); Plymouth, MA (27,000 square feet with cleanroom capabilities); Cranston, RI (76,500 square feet); and the Dominican Republic (15,000 square feet with cleanroom capabilities).
