Different types of cable ties, used in automotive applications to hold together pipes and cables in engine compartments, have been developed by Radici Group. High-productivity unreinforced Radilon A HS nylon 6/6 is used to manufacture traditional cable ties ranging from 70 mm to more than 800 mm in length. Other types of resin, such as nylon 6 with elastomer (Radilon S HSX) or plasticizer (Radilon S LVHPL 128) are also used in cases where flexibility and resistance to tearing are the main requirements.
