Honeywell signs on CFP as European film distributor

nylon film line. The bioriented and multilayer cast nylon films are manufactured at Honeywell's Pottsville, PA plant. The simultaneously bi-axially oriented nylon 6 film offers strength, toughness, clarity, and superior oxygen-barrier characteristics. In addition to food packaging, the films see use in book covers, balloons, bags, and pouches.

CFP will sell Capran 1200, 1500, 1500M, 2500 and 2500M films. The Italian processor produces BOPA, cast polyamide (CPA), and bi-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BO-PET) films, with seven BOPA and three CPA lines. In addition to its Cesano Maderno headquarters outside Milan, it has production sites in Ceriano Laghetto, and Pisticci Scalo. —[email protected]
