A novel dog-leg design in the latest magnetic metal separator from Eriez Magnetics (Erie, PA), dubbed the Magnetic Hump, includes two powerful plate magnets strategically placed to trap the tramp metal contaminants in your virgin or regrind materials that pass through its latest unit.

Engineered for longevity and durability, and available for gravity-fed or either horizontal or vertical pneumatic conveying, Magnetic Humps are made from continuously welded mild or stainless steel. Custom designs are available, as are various magnet strengths, including Eriez’s Xtreme Rare Earth, Rare Earth, Superpower, and Maxipower offerings.
