JB Plastics moves into expanded California home

Custom injection molder JB Plastics Inc. is returning to its Santa Ana roots, relocating operations to a new 28,000-ft2 site located off California 55 freeway. Founded in January 2000 just a few blocks away from the new location, JB Plastics started business in a 5000-ft2 plant with one injection molding machine.

Custom injection molder JB Plastics Inc. is returning to its Santa Ana roots, relocating operations to a new 28,000-ft2 site located off California 55 freeway. Founded in January 2000 just a few blocks away from the new location, JB Plastics started business in a 5000-ft2 plant with one injection molding machine. Commenting on the move, JB President Joseph Chiodo said, "It has always been a goal for our company to expand our expertise and a large part of that is location. We aim to provide a one stop shop from concept to distribution."

JB Plastics services include; warehousing, distribution, assembly, production, prototyping, and CAD drawings and more. The company operates Toyo molding machines, with clamp forces from 90 to 200 tons. It also has a tool shop equipped with a lathe and surface grinder, as well as EDM and milling machines. JB Plastics was created by business partners and friends Joseph Chiodo and Bruce Donoho. The company's two facilities have a combined total of 36,000 ft2. —[email protected]
