M&H Plastics has unveiled a new snap-on flip top cap that has been designed to fit all three sizes of the company's new Fusion standard bottle shape.

M&H Marketing Manager Vicki John told PlasticsToday the caps are manufactured from PP.

"It is different in that we specifically created it to fit the same three bottles making it more cost effective for customers," she said. "Also, there is the possibility of having the top and bottom manufactured in two different colors for range differentiation."

Fusion5.jpg_0.jpgM&H engineered the three Fusion bottles to have the same neck size. The Fusion bottles are manufactured in HDPE and are available in 200ml, 250ml, and 400ml sizes.

John said the curved shape of the bottles is currently popular and they wanted to create a whole range of bottles using this shape. M&H wanted to include a 400ml as the market trend at the moment is larger, value pack sizes.

All bottles take the same snap-on flip top cap, which comes with an active hinge enabling the user to open the closure and dispense product with just one hand. The flat flip top cap means these bottles can be inverted to use as tottles, the company stated.

While the shape is appropriate for a wide range of sectors, John said it will appeal to the personal care sector for hair products and skincare, but could also be used for pet care shampoos, car care cleaners, and household polish. The product is available commercially.

UK-based M&H Plastics has a portfolio of more 1200 standard products plus a full in-house custom molding service.
