MRPC expands with two cleanrooms, four presses

Medical device component/assembly manufacturer MRPC (www.mrpcorp.com) has added two cleanrooms—a Class 10,000 (2000 ft2) and Class 100,000 (3000 ft2)—to its Butler, WI facility. Four new molding machines are also part of the expansion: two 40-ton LIM machines for molding liquid silicone rubber (LSR), one 80-ton vertical LIM machine for overmolding LSR onto plastic or metal substrates, and one thermoplastic press for producing small to micro-size implantable PEEK parts.
