Phasa in robotics expansion

Phasa Ltd. (Newmarket, UK) is to expand into the robotics and automation sector to complement its existing hot air thermoplastic component assembly machine and tooling business. Tony Woods, Phasa’s UK director, says, “We already integrate automation processes into our standard assembly machines so expanding into the automation market is a natural progression for our next stage of growth.” Phasa has chosen Kuka Automation & Robotics (West Midlands, UK) as its affiliate to provide six-axis and Scara robots. —[email protected]
