The system is reportedly ideal for heatstaking and insertion applications that require process repeatability and precision. The unit offers heatstake-by-distance and a heatstake-by-force controls. A touch-screen operator interface has menu-driven parameters, lock-out security codes, and collapse distance measurement. The system is said to be extremely rigid, with an enhanced antideflection frame. There is a primary and secondary postcooling feature and up to 12 independent temperature zones.
