Swiss compounder and masterbatch supplier Sukano (Schindellegi) this week officially opened its new 8200m2 facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, a move that gives it regional compounding capacity and the resulting shorter delivery times for its customers who, until now, were supplied from its Swiss headquarters.

Sukano's new facility in Malaysaia will assure customers shorter delivery times.

Swiss compounder and masterbatch supplier Sukano (Schindellegi) this week officially opened its new 8200m2 facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, a move that gives it regional compounding capacity and the resulting shorter delivery times for its customers who, until now, were supplied from its Swiss headquarters. The company also has a compounding facility in Duncan, SC.

Noted the company’s CEO, Paul Steinauer, “With the opening of a new facility in the heart of Southeast Asia, our customers in the region will benefit particularly from shorter delivery times but also from their proximity to the Sukano facility.” He added, “To enable us to offer this full service locally at a competitive cost, we will in the future be closely evalua¬ting more and more Far Eastern sources of raw materials and obtaining alternative materials locally.” [email protected]
