Trex tops Builder magazine’s 2009 Brand Leader Study

The 2009 Brand Use Study conducted by Readex Research, an independent research company, asks builders which brands they know best, which ones they use the most and which ones they rate the highest in quality. Professionals also rank brands on product excellence, promotion effectiveness and market dominance. They study is then published by Builder, a Hanley Wood publication that serves as a comprehensive information source for the home building industry. “While Trex has ranked highly in specific areas over the past few years, this is the first time since 2005 that we have swept the entire decking category,” says Ronald Kaplan, CEO of Trex, who added, “The honor is especially meaningful to Trex because one of our primary goals over the past year has been to reinforce the inherent value of the brand among our trade partners—and to communicate the superiority of our products.” —[email protected]
