Unimin announces price increase on fillers

Unimin Specialty Minerals Inc. (New Canaan, CT) will raise prices on its Minex, Imsil, Snobrite and Minbloc brand functional filler products effective February 1, 2016. Price increases will range from 4 to 8%, depending on the grade. The increase is necessary to offset rising production costs, critical support and continual reinvestment, according to Unimin.
