?By using what is said to be the world’s smallest series of ball endmills, toolmakers will be able to extend their precision machining capabilities. The NS Tool micro ball endmills from distributor Single Source Technologies (Auburn Hills, MI) measure just 0.01-0.1 mm in diameter, with the size range for other NS Tool Series ranging from 0.11-12 mm to provide endmills for every application. Square endmills are also available in the Micro Series starting at 0.01-mm diameter. All tools in the Micro Series are made of super micro grain carbide, and the “R” design feature allows users to achieve a finer surface finish.
