Designed to provide up to 187,920 btu/hr heat removal, Durachill chillers are ideal for cooling plastics molding equipment and are said to be rugged and portable. The units are available with 1.5-, 2-, 3-, 5-, 7.5-, 10-, 13-, or 15-hp scroll compressors, along with air- or water-cooled condensers and a choice of pump types and powers. User-adjustable temperature, pressure, and flow-rate alarms?in addition to automatic condenser pressure cutouts?protect equipment. Other features include digital microprocessor temperature control, serial communication, and remote control capability, and easy to read LED temperature and pressure/flow rate displays.

The 1.5-3-hp models control process temperatures from 41-95°F with ±.9 deg F stability. The 5-15-hp models control process temperatures from 32-86°F with ±2 deg F stability.

The chillers optionally come with remote temperature tracking, conductivity control, DI-compatible process piping, audio and visual alarms, higher output pumps, and high- and low-ambient temperature packages.
