Ravago Americas acquires Bay State Polymers

Ravago Americas LLC (Orlando, FL) announced that it has acquired Bay State Polymer Distribution Inc. (Westlake, OH). Bay State will become part of Ravago's Amco Polymers business, a North American distributor of commodity, engineering and specialty polymers."We continue to search for high-quality companies that are a strategic fit for our company," said Jim Duffy, President of Ravago Americas. Ravago Americas acquires Bay State Polymers

Kevin Wettstein, Vice President and General Manager of Amco Polymers, commented: "At Amco, our people, our products and our philosophy drive our success in the polymer distribution market. Ravago explained that Amco Polymers is an "agile, solutions-focused distributor and compounding company with [considerable] breadth in resin selection" and a history that spans more than 60 years. Amco serves several major markets including automotive, packaging, industrial, healthcare, electrical/electronics and consumer durables.
