You know what they say about letting sleeping dogs lie, and with a new dog bed shaped like a gigantic dog bone it's easier than ever to do just that. The new rotationally molded dog bed is molded in a single, durable piece from waterproof polyethylene to permit permanent placement outdoors and allow outdoor pets to sleep with the same comfort as indoor pets.

Developed by Puppy Playground (www.PuppyPlayground.com), Ormond Beach, FL, and manufactured by Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD) in Ashtabula, OH, the smooth, contoured dog bed measures 36" x 24" by five inches high to elevate dogs off of the cold, hard ground and provide a comfortable place to curl up.

It also drains water to keep dogs dry, wipes clean with common cleaning agents, and does not harbor mold or bacteria.

According to Paul Entin, the marketing professional for Puppy Playground, the company has several rotomolded products so they were familiar with that technology and suitability for this application. The company has a long history with MOD (www.rotomolding.com) and knows the quality of the products it produces using the process.

Due to the strength of the plastic material and the rotomolding process, the company is able to include a five-year guarantee. The bed is priced from $71.25 in quantity and in a choice of colors.
