Screen Printer Incorporates Convection Air Drying

0201-pn-11.jpgSystematic Automation's new SST 20+ multi-color screen printer has a convection air dryer. Forced, heated air is directed across the width of a substrate as it travels between print stations. Drying is achieved with two 3300-watt electric heaters. It is designed for printing on substrates that are incompatible with UV inks.

The SST (Servo Sliding Table) can be supplied with one to six print stations with a shared curing station. PC control allows operators to change the sequence of color lay-down without moving screens, squeegees or flood-bars. A print area up to 36 x 36 in., with registration and repeatability of ±0.001 in. are said to be easily obtained.

Options include systems for UV curing, anti-static and pre-cleaning.
