SRG Global expands plant in Ibi, Spain

SRG Global expands plant in Ibi, Spain

"As the only SRG Global plating facility in Europe, this expansion will allow us to continue supporting our current core customers while providing the additional capacity to meet their growth needs," said the company's president and CEO Dave Prater. "The Ibi facility is very important to the company and this region."

Slated for completion in early 2015, the expansion project will create 20 new jobs at the facility. SRG Global currently has nearly 1,000 employees in Europe and 4,800 worldwide. The company's European headquarters is located in Liria (Valencia), where it also has a production facility.

SRG Global, a Guardian Ccmpany, is headquartered near Detroit in Warren, Michigan. Through its Advanced Development Center in Taylor, MI, SRG Global works to enhance manufacturing processes and accelerates development and delivery of the next generation of materials and coating technologies.

This expansion announcement comes on the heels of the company's recent announcement of an expansion of the Irapuato, Mexico, facility that will add 215,000 square feet to the existing 205,000-sf facility, providing complete part production capability including injection molding, chrome plating and assembly.

SRG Global has facilities throughout North America, Western and Central Europe, and China.
