Milacron has created a new position, VP sales, Americas - Aftermarket Services, to help unify aftermarket businesses across the Americas, naming Mark Evans to the new role. Evans will lead the sales organization for Milacron Americas Aftermarket, including the ServTek, Wear Technologies, Progress Precision and Milacron- Posventa Americas businesses. Evans has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Milacron has created a new position, VP sales, Americas - Aftermarket Services, to help unify aftermarket businesses across the Americas, naming Mark Evans to the new role. Evans will lead the sales organization for Milacron Americas Aftermarket, including the ServTek, Wear Technologies, Progress Precision and Milacron- Posventa Americas businesses. Evans has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He previously served as VP sales and a company officer at Batesville / Hillenbrand Inc. Evans will also be tasked with enhancing Milacron's PART-nership program for preventative maintenance.

KY Lee joined Songwon Industrial Co. Ltd. as managing director for Korea and sales director for North East Asia on May 2. Lee, who holds Masters and Bachelor degrees in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA from the University of Korea in Seoul, came to Songwon from Honeywell Specialty Materials posts in Korea and Japan.

Davis-Standard LLC has hired Hassan Gangji as its chief procurement officer. Gangji will be responsible for strategic direction of the company's global supply chain function including sourcing, supplier quality, procurement, inventory management and order fulfillment. Gangji has more than 11 years of industry experience managing supply chains, most recently working as the director of supply chain management for ATCO Structures and Logistics. Before that, he was director of supply chain at Husky Injection Molding Systems. Gangji has a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California, and holds a MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

KYDEX LLC has named Vijay Yadav as its new director of technology. Yadav holds an MBA from University of East London Business School and a BS in Polymer Science and Technology from Brunel University. Yadav will oversee technical and technological activities and functions for KYDEX, including research and development, formulation, and new product development and introduction to customers. Mitch Goto, technical director; Dennis Kelso, technical service manager; and Jym Kauffman, designLab Manager, will report to Yadav.

Star Thermoplastics, which reported its largest growth and sales volume since its founding in 1993, announced a number personnel moves. The company has hired Samantha Dieschbourg, a 2011 graduate of Saint Louis University, as its marketing coordinator. Leslie Sonne, who previously held the firm's first marketing position, has been named Star Thermoplastics' first Project Coordinator. A role where she's expected to help monitor and control Star's material product programs with customers around the globe.

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America has hired Craig Lustek as its LIMS process engineer to work within its LIMS Technical Center in Akron, OH. Lustek has more than 11 years of process engineering, manufacturing, and R&D experience, including time as a product manager with 2KM US Inc. (Williamsville, NY). The LIMS center in Akron includes a 110-ton all-electric Arburg injection molding machine.
