Top-of-the-line unit reduces waste to usable recyclate

The NGR X: Gran 165 is this manufacturer's largest and most powerful unit for shredding plastics waste for reuse in other applications. It is executed as a cutter-extruder combination. Due to its hopper volume (1.8 by 1.8 by 2m; 6 by 6 by 7 ft), it can accept material as large as bales without pre-treatment or additional handling to convert it into pellets. This saves labor, reduces energy consumption, and reduces floorspace requirements. The modular machine allows either a vented or nonvented extruder, screenchanger, and pelletizer to be varied according to the type of material being cut.

The unit's extruder output is up to 1600 kg/hr (3500 lb/hr). It features a 12-inch touchscreen and space-saving, water-cooled drives. Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen GmbH, Marchtrenk, Austria; +43 7243 585770; www.ngr.at
