Anne M. Cook is Compendial Affairs-QA Advisor at Eli Lilly and Co. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Western Kentucky University 1986. In her nearly four decades in the pharmaceutical industry, she has actively used her extensive analytical chemistry and quality assurance knowledge to support global efforts focused on materials, packaging, and compendial standards. Cook is an acknowledged compendial and packaging qualification expert, both internal and external to Lilly. She participated in the USP Plastic Packaging Working Group (2018) to strengthen collaborative efforts between industry and the USP on the <661> chapters. Cook regularly uses her leadership skills within industry groups, including: Midwest Compendial Discussion Group (MWCDG) and Compendial Policy, Process, and Quality (CPPQ).
