Dollins Tool joins Switzerland-based Mold & Robotics Group

Dollins Tool, based in Independence, MO, announced today that its shareholders have reached an agreement to sell the company to the Mold & Robotics Group (Conthey, Switzerland), joining the Swiss automation and tool manufacturer Müller and U.S. automation company, CBW Automation. The merger strengthens the first globally active industry leader in tooling and automation with plants in America and in Europe.
CBW Automation announced on November 29, 2017, that its shareholders reached an agreement to sell the company to the Mold & Robotics Group. With the addition of Dollins Tool, founded in 1952, the Mold & Robotics Group will be able to offer a range of services to customers across multiple continents to meet the increasing demands for food and non-food thin-wall packaging, product design, tooling and automation.
