Lights, camera, Legos!Lights, camera, Legos!
Is there anything you can't make with those little molded ABS bricks from Lego? There must be a few things, but the you-killed-the-car scene from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and that chilling sequence from "The Shining," when tricycle boy first encounters the twins in a corridor of the Overlook Hotel, are not among them.

Some very clever builders recreated those iconic scenes using only Lego products for the annual Plastic from the Past competition sponsored by Swedish Lego fan forum, Swebrick.
Several other mind-bending cinematic recreations, as well as one of Magnum P.I.—yeah, I can't figure that one out, either—are posted on the metro.co.uk site. Enjoy!
