Look who’s coming

Some 7257 companies are already represented among those who have registered to attend NPE2012, including many of the biggest and best known businesses in the world. You could get a pretty good sense of how the stock market is doing by polling your fellow attendees and exhibitors. Fully 18 of the 30 companies that make up the Dow Jones Industrial Average will be in Orlando. Look for these companies on nametags as you walk the floor:

After the turmoil of 2008 and 2009, many of the world's leading automakers were taken off the DJIA, but Ford, GM, Honda, Toyota, and more will be at the Orange County Convention Center as well.

You can't get through the letter C without pulling up these names:

Abbott, Agilent, Baxter, Becton Dickinson, Bose, Boston Scientifc, Callaway Golf, Cardinal Health Care, Clorox, Colgate-Palmolive, Covidien, and Crocs
