CAM training goes online

Joining the list of companies taking education to the Internet is Surfware Inc., which has put training for SurfCAM CAD/CAM Systems online. Called SurfCAM eTraining, the site is structured around a series of tutorials that incorporate animated graphics to introduce users to the SurfCAM interface and its two-, three-, four-, and five-axis manufacturing capabilities. SurfCAM?s lathe and wire EDM technology is also featured. The structure of the site allows the user to work at his or her own pace and to choose lessons from a sequence of procedures or from a technology reference.
