PC-Based Profiling System Measures Film Thickness Off-Line
The TMI Profiling System has a fixed-gap capacitance sensor, automatic transport system and real-time graphics for off-line measurement of film thickness. The PC-based system includes a measurement and transport unit, PC interface board with cable, PC, monitor and control software. For hardcopy output, an Epson LX or compatible printer is required. After running a test sample, the entire thickness profile is presented, along with a bar graph distribution curve and statistical data. This information can be printed or stored. A simple menu structure guides operators through each step. The programmable unit allows for storage of up to 50 set-ups.
Prices range from around $10,000 to $13,000.
