Drip irrigation line and heating/plumbing pipe systems on display

Article-Drip irrigation line and heating/plumbing pipe systems on display

Swiss pipe and profile extrusion equipment supplier Maillefer will display a series of innovations for drip-irrigation lines, including additional tube designs and dripper styles such as flat and cylindrical. The company's PIL extrusion lines are available with multilayer output, dripper feeding and insertion, and fully automatic nonstop coiling from the company's new KWI coiler. Maillefer (Stand 12C06) said increasing interest from the agriculture sector for economical and ecological water-irrigation systems is driving demand for drip-irrigation extrusion lines.

For heating and plumbing pipe, Maillefer will launch new forming and welding components used in the manufacture of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) and aluminum composite pipe. Maillefer says features of note include easier forming-tool setup, elimination of wear and dust from TIG (tungsten inert gas) grounding, and improved weld inspection. Maillefer says it has redesigned all of the components on the PCL line, resulting in improved performance, efficiency, ease of operation, and processing quality.

In addition to equipment displays for the above products, Maillefer will present its full equipment portfolio, including extrusion lines for blown fiber tubes and microducts; medical IV tubes; automotive fuel line tubes with six or more functional layers; and gas and water pipes.
