Telescoping Vertical Handler Manipulates Off-Center Loads
The Telescoping Vertical Handler, for palletizing and stock picking applications, can be equipped with such end effectors as poles for handling roll goods, box clamps, manipulator arms and fork lift blades. Company says it can run on any type of enclosed track to provide full X-Y-Z manipulation.
It is constructed of steel for a rigid mast and all controls are kept at a constant height during operation so users can easily manipulate off-center loads.
Unit is said to provide 360 deg of rotation and to operate in tight spaces. And if the operator releases the handle, it will remain in position. Units are available with capacities up to 1500 lb and in configurations that operate from electricity or shop air.
Prices start at $14,995 and go up depending on capacity, configuration and power requirements.
