Control targets small hot runners

Billed as an ideal solution for precision control of small hot runners like single-cavity molds and hot sprue-bushing applications, a new two-zone hot runner temperature control has been introduced. The two-zone LEC control joins the LEC line, which is available for systems requiring up to 24 zones of control. The latest LEC is offered with 2-, 6-, and 12-zone enclosures. The modular design allows the control car to be removed, added, or replaced with relative ease.

The system?s manufacturer says the LEC is designed for global use and is compatible with most hot runner molds. The LEC comes with a 2-year warranty and is supported by a global service network. It can be ordered through a sales representative or online at the manufacturer?s website.
