Motorized vertical roll-stand positioning permits quick and easy vertical adjustments of the die to nip-point approach, and digital readout gives a precise indication of vertical position for repeatability. A smoothly operating roll drive shaft arrangement features distributed gear reduction for changing the speed/torque ranges of roll drives. It also enables quick disengagement without tools when removing rolls.
