New valves offer advanced safety and reliability features, according to the manufacturer. The D660 series servoproportional valves feature a contamination-resistant ServoJet pilot stage that needs only one 200-µm protection filter internally because the jet-to-receiver area (the area most sensitive to contamination) has a clearance of 35 µm. The ServoJet pilot stages? high pressure output ensures high spool controlling forces and reliable operation. The design also provides better than 90 percent pilot stage internal leakage flow recovery for low energy consumption 500 Hz frequency response in the pilot stage.
In addition, a new Direct Drive Valve (DDV) technology adds to hydraulic component reliability. The permanent magnet linear motors? high maximum controlling forces (up to 300N) ensure dependable operation of the DDVs. DDVs are servoproportional valves that come in DO3 and DO5 sizes with multiple spool configuration options and center fail-safe capabilities. Pricing information was not provided.
