The new PLC-based RT Series oftouch screen robot interfaces from Ranger Automation provides real-time values, in inches, of all axes, including wrist flips and rolls. It also provides real-time take-out times,overall robot cycle times and molding machine cycle times. The touch screen shows an actual graphic image of the robot as it moves.

The controller can be retrofitted on any of Ranger's 3-axis servo robots with a Mitsubishi processor from 1997 on. It is available as an option on new robots.

A 'help' button accesses the entire user's manual. The system has four levels of password protection. A 'quick-start' guide allows for quick and easy robot setup via alpha/numeric keypad. The setup name can be the same as the mold name. It can also set up grippers, vacuums and other end-of-arm tooling options, as well as vertical, strip and traverse axes.
