Custom Capacitance Sensors Now Available Because 'One Size Does Not Fit All'
BinMaster says there is no such thing as a 'typical' application when it comes to bulk materials handling and processing. So, the company is now building custom capacitance sensors to fit each application. There are 14 different models, more than 70 different probe assemblies and eight different fitting options. BinMaster says all components are stocked so lead-time is only a matter of days.
BinMaster's probes have an integrated circuit design, which operates below the radio frequency range and eliminates interference from two-way radios. In addition, the standard 1/2 picofarad sensitivity can reportedly be held across the entire operational temperature range so there is no need for constant recalibration.
Four levels of static discharge protection are said to ensure that units will function in pneumatically-conveyed materials.
