PVC plasticizer alternatives for medical devices highlighted at MD&M West

Chemical, processing, and design issues surrounding the replacement of phthalate plasticizers in PVC compounds for medical applications will be showcased during the forthcoming MD&M West exhibition and conference in Anaheim, CA. Peter Galland, Vinyl Div. Industry Manager at Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, RI) will address the myriad challenges, as well as the opportunities, in sourcing alternative materials from 10:30 AM to noon in room 201A of the Anaheim Convention Center.

Galland's presentation will draw on comprehensive data compiled by Teknor Apex regarding plasticizer alternatives.
