Hot runner nozzle made for small molds

Article-Hot runner nozzle made for small molds

The Series 25D hot runner nozzle was developed to fit into smaller mold bases. It fits directly into standard mold bases, replaces cold sprue bushings, and is suited for retrofit into existing cold sprue bushing applications. With a new SFC heater, the nozzle is designed to eliminate cold sprue waste and decrease cycle time. It features interchangeable tips with optional extra stock, a flexible lead end potting adapter that can be bent to suit, and a 2-inch head diameter with 1/4- and 1-inch nozzle shank. The nozzle is available in lengths to suit standard mold plate thicknesses.

It costs approximately $500 for the nozzle assembly and just less than $1000 for the assembly with a single-zone temperature controller.
