A new gantry system is capable of processing 3D parts, performing cutting, perforating, and scoring operations at high speeds with a contour accuracy of less than ±0.1 mm. The system is said to be cost-effective and flexible, yet precise, with a laser directing the gantry in the X, Y, and Z axes, allowing processing of five sides of a part. Further flexibility comes from the cutting head, which can rotate and swivel in the A and C axes. Smaller cutting heads are available for smaller areas or recessed cuts.
