Preform molder consolidating production

Resilux, Wetteren, Belgium, one of Europe’s leading pet preform molders, is building a facility in Switzerland that will consolidate its current five plants in the country, all gained through acquisition in the last two years. The combined annual output of the five plants is about 1 billion preforms, says Resilux sales manager Eduard Suter. The new plant should be ready this spring. The company also recently boosted its preform output in Russia, where it controls 4% of the market.
